Hello, I'm Mina, the maker behind Yuzu Pottery.

I grew up in Japan and have lived in Seattle since 2005.
Nature has always been my greatest inspiration — the quiet beauty of sunlight, rain, and the small patterns that appear in the natural world. I try to bring that sense of calm, simplicity, and timelessness into every piece I create.

My signature Zen Bird Mug features a tiny, hand-sculpted bird perched gently on the handle — a symbol of individuality and gentle strength. Each bird is shaped by hand, making every mug one-of-a-kind, just like the people who use them.

I make pottery with the hope that it becomes a long-loved part of your daily life — a favorite mug for your morning coffee, or a quiet companion during a peaceful afternoon.
